10.ETHNOBOTANY OF MALLIKARJUN HILLS OF WALWA FROM SANGLI DISTRICT (MAHARASHTRA) By ILAHI MUJAWAR
Abstract
Inventory was undertaken from last 10 years i.e. between 2000 to 2010. It was continuously screened and
documented the use of traditional medicinal plant from Mallikarjun Hills region of Walwa from Sangli
District of Maharashtra, India. Present work investigated the total 36 species representing 32 genera and
23 families were found which are used as traditional medicine for the treatment of 40 various diseases and
commonly occurs in human life.
