Abstract

Wild ass sanctuary is one of the last places on earth where the endangered wild ass sub-species Indian Wild Ass (Khur) (Equus hemionus khur) belonging to Asiatic wild ass species Onager (Equus hemionus) can be spotted in India. The study was carried out in the area. Over 291 plants belonging to more than 65 families were observed. The present work gives an account of different life form categories and biological spectrum of the study area.
