7.PLANTS OF MEDICINAL IMPORTANCE FROM HALIA BLOCK OF DISTRICT MIRZAPUR, UTTAR PRADESH BY MUKTA TIWARI AND R.H. SINGH
Abstract
The present research work and study of prevalent medicinal flora of Halia block of Lalganj region of
Mirzapur (U.P.) which remain extremely rich heritage of floristic gloom medicinal plants from ancient
past having therapeutic values and frequently used by local and tribal people. The study contains almost
62 family and 160 medicinal plants for curing various diseases among different ethnic societies. This all
extensive information has been collected by field survey and supplemented by screening of literature.
