Abstract

Around 2000 effective plant based formulations used in folk medicines and known to rural communities all over India. The present paper aims to explore the ethno-remedies used for the treatment of various diseases which are followed by the Bhaghats, Vaidyas, Local inhibitants, Hakims and Tribals residing in the Sebhargog forest area of Banaskantha district of North Gujarat. 46 plant species belonging    32 families in curing various diseases of the people described in brief in the present paper.
