Water is a common resource, essential amenity, and universal solvent. A physico-chemical analysis of the water quality at five hand pumps was done in five villages in certain rural parts of the Khathumer Tehsil of the Alwar district in Rajasthan. In terms of accessibility, the water samples were examined. The study found that the majority of ground water samples met drinking water standards, with the exception of a small number of samples that had higher fluoride, calcium, total hardness, and total alkalinity values. The assessment of the ground water's quality in the research area is covered in great detail.
