Abstract
The study was carried out by different prevalence of helminth in sheep in Banaskantha district of Gujarat. The faecal sample was taken directly from rectum of sheep. The qualitative, quantitative and larvae culture methods were used for diagnosis of helminth in sheep. Total 500 sheep were screened for helminth prevalence, among 311 sheep were positive for helminth. In different helminth prevalence. Trichuris infestations were more found than other helminth prevalence. The retrospective data revealed the prevalence of various helminthes in district at an average rate of Trichuris (30.22%), Trichostrongylus (21.86%), Coccidia (14.79%), Amphistome (9.32%) and mixed infection (23.79%).
