Abstract

Theriophonum fischeri Sivad. (Araceae) is endemic to South India. The present collection from
Karandamalai, Pannamalai and Sirumalai hills, Southern Eastern Ghats extends its distribution
further towards southern parts of Eastern Ghats. Hitherto unreported uses of this plant are also
provided.
KEY WORDS: Theriophonum , Karandamalai, Pannamalai and Sirumalai hills.
