Abstract

The investigation was carried out in order to explore the existing floristic composition in Raigadh range forest. Raigadh range Forest is biologically diverse systems, representing some of the richest biological areas. They offer a variety of habitats for plant. The forests are mostly confined in the northern and eastern hilly regions of the district. Raigadh forest is situated in Himatnagar Taluka. Wide range of plant diversity found here. In this forest, more than 55 families of flowering plant are there. Many plants are medicinally important and local people are using it.
